I made a 5 gallon batch of welches concord from frozen concentrate. I sweetened it with more concentrate to an sg of 1.005 because my wife likes it sweeter. It has been sitting for about 5 days since I sweetened it. I took a small sample and tasted it. It is not bad, but tastes more like grape juice than wine. Will this change with ageing? I am not sure I like the "grape juice" flavor. The last batch of this I made was sweetened with sugar and was a real hit. Will it get more "wine-like" with time? Thanks..

I make it and call it "THE GRAPE" . I dont care for it but several people always want me to make more. That is how it tastes to me, like grape juice. People like grape juice or welches would not be in business. Last age very seldom hurts a wine. The pain is in waiting to drink it
