Easter wine?

We're having the traditional Easter dinner - ham, sweet potatoes, etc. what varietal would you put your table with dinner??

With Ham for me it would be a Pinot Noir or a Rose'!

My choice for the same type meal is a lightly oaked Merlot. After dinner, an oaked Shiraz. Both made in 2015. And I always have Riesling for those that don,t like red. Happy Easter Jim.

Neither the Pinot or Rose are in the bottle unfortunately. I do have a 2.5 year old stags leap merlot down there, though.

Well I also lean towards Pinot or rose, but our rule is: if you like it, drink it!

I am sure it is too late, but I would serve a Gewurtztraminer with that. Or a dry Riesling.

Simalar dinner here. No sweet potatoes.
Pink wine with pink ham. Bottled yesterday.
Began as a cyser
Added cranberry (emulsion? ) to secondary.
Finished ????? Something missing.
Racked over lees of jaom and allowed to clear.

The local zinfandel I had at dinner last night a local fairly upscale resturant had nothing on it, as it is now.
Lemoncello for after dinner.
