Just filled bottles with 5 gallons of blackberry wine. Got called away for 2 hours before I could return to insert corks. How big a problem is this?

As long as you had your wine properly sulfited, none at all.

Just to be on the safe side, you might want to keep them separate just to be able to taste any differences. I agree you probably should be safe.

I have gotten in the habit of doing about a case at a time then corking, with the thought of being interrupted and having to stop bottling, it never fails when I'm in the wine room everyone tries to get a hold of me or needs me to help with something, lol.
No problem. Surface area x time is a small exposure number.
