I made a riesling about a month ago. It's been clearing for weeks now and hasn't really cleared. I don't think I degassed well enough.

I get my new aspirator in the mail today or tomorrow. Can I rack the wine over and degas with the aspirator? Or will that mess something up?

I have never used an aspirator but your wine will clear in a warm temp. (70-75 degrees) if you are using a clairifier or at a cool temp. if you are not using anything.

Typically it will take 6 weeks to clear, gassed or not. If your wine is degassed that will expedite it's clearing.

Be patient and let mother nature and gravity work. If you watch carefully you will see it clear over time plus you will see sediment on the bottom.
