Hello. I'm pretty new to this, I'm bottling my first batch now and want to get my primary ready for the next one. I've been wanting to try cranberry banana wine. Anyone have any good recipes? I mainly want to know if you would extract the juice from the cranberries same as the bananas, i.e. boil? Cause they sure don't crush well. Thanks .

Maybe this will help some...

I'm hoping to make a banana wine in a month or so. I'll just be using frozen sliced banana, no boiling. I've been making all my fruit/country wines using the Dragon Blood recipe as a starting point.

Good luck and keep us posted.

I just started a cranberry wine for next Christmas. I used a food processor to chop them then bagged in strainer bags.

I agree, use a food processor and chew the cranberries up. Put them in a bag and pour sugar in a pot, add a gallon of water and bring it to a boil. Add it to the berries and continue until you have enough. Let it cool and add your yeast.
