I like this Chitosan product and it has aided in clearing many of my wines.

I also know someone that has developed a severe shellfish allergy.

I mixed those two items one evening and we drank and tested many glasses together that one evening.... Had a great time and even a little bit of a hangover... Not too bad...

Long story short is that anaphylaxis shock can kill but luckily it didn't this time... It almost did and the EMT's brought her to the ER where she was almost admitted into the ICU.

Took a couple days to figure this out and put the pieces together.. sorta like - WTF???

The shellfish "should" all be precipitated out and the proteins aren't even in the product and in theory, practice and theory are no different from each other.

Best to stay away from this stuff like the commercial makers. There is a reason they are not allowed to use it.

Looking for quality alternatives and I know time is a good one.

I've had amazing results with Sparkloid ...good cheap and fast. But I honestly don't know how or what it is made of.
