I am double checking myself here...
After getting home I noticed I had bought both a bottle of campdon pills & a bag of potassium metabisulfite..
Isn't potassium metabisulfite just grounded up campdon pills?? Or are they 2 different things??

Yes you are right.
You bought twice the same stuff.

However potassium metabisulphite is NOT
powdered campden tablets.
Campden tablets are Potassium Metabisulphite
and some kind of harmless 'glue' that keeps it
in a pill form.

I personally prefer the Pot meta powder.
I just measure the amount of grams I need.
But then, I am in Holland and we use the metric
system which makes measuring stuff a lot easier
as working with gallons, pounds, cups etc etc etc.

1000 gram is a kilo
100 cl = a liter
That's all.

They can be the same. I believe that campden tablets can be either potassium metabisulfite or sodium metabisulfite.
