I've a local supplier that offers this juice pail. I've read this is chardonnay but reading about the lack of quality concerns me. Would I be better off getting a chardonnay kit instead of a juice pail of this?

I can't type the pail is Chablis

Chablis is a region in france producing chardonnay grapes that are more acidic and less fruity than chardonnay from warmer regions. This juice bucket is probably chablis style. It might not be what you would expect from your typical chardonnay but could still be good.

I have good experience with white wines from both buckets and kits. It's hard to say, but these days I lean towards juice buckets over kits.
