Is it necessary to use Campden if I sanitize thoroughly when using juice alone?

Source of the juice?
1) Home pressed - you might want to play safe and treat it.
2) Commercially prepared juice - some state that there is no need to sanitize.

Only cost to you is the time and effort to treat it. If you add any other fruit, skins etc to commercially prepared juice I'd treat it. Otherwise follow 2)

Not necessary prior to fermentation but you will definitely want it after.

My opinion? YES, please do sanitize with them because its better to not take a chance. Seriously! The worst thing you can do is not sanitize or sterilize effectively.
