If you are going to campden some must and pitch yeast 24 hrs later, can it be under airlock for the 24 hours? Or will this keep the sulfur from escaping enough?

just lay the lid on top. Even after you pitch keep the lid loose (no airlock). Yeasties love the added oxygen in the begining.
