48 of my original 50 cab franc on riparia rootstock remain. Last year (three-year-old vines) I had very few shoots push from VSP canes at the cordon level and a few clusters of very small grapes that formed; this year ALL have healthy looking shoots. I'm shoot thinning to about the width of my fist. Tons of clusters forming. Last year I had good success with clove oil for weeds and foliar phosphorous acid spray for mildew. Hoping this is my year. Photos taken on 4/25.

Try Stylet oil for mildew, it's just mineral oil just like the stuff you get at the pharmacy with a few added proprietary ingredients to justify the price. Mix 2oz per gallon of water. Yes, plain mineral oil will work too.
