Bought a old basket press

Hi All,
I recently bought a very old Beraducci bros press and the previous owner painted it and replaced some of the staves. I'm wondering my best options to possibly replace staves and paint the iron base. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

it looks usable for this season. I would sand blast the iron stand and then paint with a no rust food grade paint. I believe Presque Isle has paint.

As for the staves replace with oak and don't paint
