Two things I do.
1 is make it so I can quit at any time. Takes the big production out of it. If I only want to clean/sanitize bottles I quit there. Put them in the box upside down when dry and use them as is when ready.
@winemaker81's method, thus tried and true.
2 I often split batches into a 3 gallon carboy and bottle 15. Sometimes I do 2-3 and make it an afternoon. Other times I wash bottles one afternoon, spit the batch while they dry, and bottle. either way its 45 minutes till I can quit. I often do a lot because It's just a while longer to do the next step.
This way I also need WAy less bottles on hand. I only have a couple hundred.
Just my thoughts. Slow and steady wins the race!
