Bottling time

How long before bottling do you add the potassium sorbate to stabalize the wine? This is the first bottling attempt. Any info would be welcome Thank You

The sorbate is required if you plan to back sweeten the wine prior to bottling. Adding this couple of days prior to bottling is sufficient.

When you add sorbate you need to also add potassium metabislufite. I generally wait at least a week before bottling.
