I just finished bottling a Washington Riesling when I remembered I did not add a 1/4 teaspoon of K-meta before bottling. My question is though if I sanitized all the bottles just an hour before with a k-meta solution and just let the bottles drain wouldn't the wine already be protected from oxidation just from the residue left in the bottles? The sanitizing solution 3tb/1gal is much stronger than the 1/4tp/6gal solution.
