Any suggested reading for wine making?

I'm less interested in growing grapes and more the science behind it. Ph and how it affects things as well as blending.

Morewines manual. Free and pretty darn good. They may prescribe more stuff (enzymes, clearing agents etc) than I think are necessary, but a great 101 manual.

There's a wealth of knowledge on this forum and I've read many of the older threads but I'd like to read some of the books and then ask more later. Meaning I really don't want to ask too many n00bish questions unless I really need to.

I agree with John, Techniques in Home Winemaking by Daniel Pambianchi is the best book I found that helped me understand the chemistry of wine making. Amazon's website indicates that I bought my copy on September 2, 2014. I keep it handy as reference for when ever I bump into a wine making problem.

Just got it today and I'd highly recommend it from the little I've read so far.
