Best yeast

hi all, I am making some Cab from fresh grapes for the first time. I have supplier that has excellent cab grapes. This guy has won double golds for his cab's. My question is, I want the top quality yeast for my grapes. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance for the responses.

Why don't you ask you're supplier what yeast he used for his award winning wines?


personally I would use Lalvin RC 212

Good advice Bob, I use RC 212 in all my fresh grape wines and the results are outstanding, several have also won awards.
