I added Bentonite to my Chardonnay because it was a bit cloudy. It’s been over a week and it doesn’t seem as though it’s done anything. I’ve never really used this product. I normally use super clear.so just wondering if I should wait or go back to super Kleer.

Forgot to add that the directions said to use 1/2 teaspoon per gallon. This was a 5 gallon carboy.

Differing amounts are used before fermentation and after, it takes more afterwards, but 2.5 tsp seems to be a pretty fair amount. Bentonite in fermentation and then chitosan post ferm are a frequent fining pair in kits, taking care of both + and - particles. Consider doing a chitosan addition to provide that second part of the equation, or just use some Dualfine, which is just kieselsol / chitosan, another common +/- combo.
