My secondary was a bit too small so i put in bottles and have been burping them. Thoughts and comments are appreciated.

It's common to have overage in wine. I have a collection of bottles from 125 ml and up. #3 stoppers fit wine bottles, so I have a fairly large number of drilled stoppers and a LOT of airlocks.

Topping up with another wine helps, as it lets you reduce the number of containers by consolidating in a slightly larger one.

What i neglected to mention is that i am using pop bottles with screw lids and burping them. Lol.

I cold crash my overage in bottles which clears really well when storing in the refrigerator. I use it to top up after racking
