Not the Apple, but have successfully made Elderberry twice.
Keep in mind the concentrate is designed for reconstitution to 5 US gallons, not 6. For non-apple concentrates note that Apple and/or Pear juice is first on the ingredient list, so they're not pure concentrate. I 'spose it's possible the Apple contains Pear juice.
The Elderberry I recently bottled was extended with grape concentrate to an initial batch size of 7 US gallons. The intended audience (my d-in-l and her mom) will like it, so I'm quite satisfied with it.
