Yesterday my wife and I chopped and pressed 200 lbs. of apples. K-Meta was added and we will wait untill tonight to add pectic enzyme, then wait 12 hrs before pitching the yeast.

Goodfella, I ended up with 14 gallons of juice. 5 gallon is going to become a Cyser the rest will be wine.

IQwine, they all split after helping pick the apples the day before

Hey its great,I also know about the apple wine .My recipe for apple wine are based around chopping
the apples, making a mash, and fermenting on the mash, and then
straining later.
I often add some aromatic ingredients to the apple wine such as a spoon
of dried elderflower and orange blossom. I will usually add some oak
chips as well, as this works very well with apple wine.
 
Kartik,Welcome to our forum. How long have you been making wine? I have only been at it for a couple of years.
