Adding marbles

Im going to ask, don't laugh, But, i'd rather be safe than sorry. Does it matter if the marbles are colored or not??? Thanks.

if the color is in the glass no. if they are painted, yes. also beware, cheap chinese marbles often contain lead, cadmium and other toxins.

personally i think marbles are more hassle than they are worth.

John, be sure not to use the marbles that float, and try to stick with the darker colored ones for red wines!
