Ahh good answer re the sorbate!
Luc the shrink wraps have got pin holes in them here too but I do recall reading in one of my books that it helps seal the cork further so presumed it meant from air...my mistake!
I use a hairdryer to seal mine rather than hot water, keeps them dry and they shrink really quickly.
Im only really using them because they look pretty anyway!
