Surprised how sweet my Riesling is.

Starting gravity was 1.100. After two weeks it dropped to .995. I gave it a taste when I was racking and it was on the sweet side.
I tested my hydrometer in water and it came out perfect. Are all Rieslings this sweet?

When I took my final gravity reading the wine temperature was 73-74*. Would that temperature give me a false reading?

If it’s at .995, technically it’s not sweet, it’s a dry wine, but you’re tasting something you perceive to be sweet. Fruitiness can do that, as well as glycerine if you had a high glycerine producing yeast.

Agreed with the above posts - give it a few more than and reassess. If your readings are correct, I'd guess the taste is a pleasant byproduct of the fermentation.

Beats the heck out of "petrol" as can be common with riesling.
