Once again, Yavapai College in Clarkdale, Arizona is hosting the 2023 Emerging Winemakers Competition & Symposium. Wine entries can be submitted by emerging winemakers between January 1, 2023, and March 31, 2023, i.e., the Competition Period. Emerging winemakers are winemakers who are at least 21 years of age who make their own wine but don't sell them. A benefit of competing is that emerging winemakers receive written feedback from expert wine judges! Details can be found at www.emergingwinemakers.com.
This year, we've added a new feature: a wine label art competition. Anyone at any age can submit art for a wine label during the Competition Period. There's no need to include the usual legal statements associated with wine labels. And, you don't have to submit any wine with your wine label entry.
Please join us in person or online on April 15, 2023, for our Symposium and Competition awards ceremonies.
