5 Weeks in the bottle

Well this weekend I had a few folks over and we uncorked A Vinters Reserve Merlot.


Boy was I suprised, it has mellowed a lot in just a short time.

When I bottled, I tasted and the wine had a bite, almost a tingly bite to it.


I can not wait to test again a three months.


So, TIME is the answer. Of course we knew that, but to just let it sit seems.........un-natural.

I just finished bottling my VR Merlot this weekend. I agree that it had a bit of a bite to it, although not bad.


I can't wait for a couple months when I can really start opening bottles.....
