Hope it turns out good in about 10 months when I bottle. First time using the red star Pasteur red yeast ..it went from a sg of 1.090 to 1.020 in 4 days, that was faster than the ec1118 I used last year ...anyway good luck to all on this falls wines

Looks great. How many pounds or gallons of muscadines did you use per gallon. Did last years wine smell and taste like muscadines. I;ve trued fir the last four years to make good muscadine wine and none of it smelled or tasted like muscadine. It was pretty good, but you couldn't tell what kind of wine it was. Thanks for any help on my maling of muscadine wine.

Etb, I use no water, all noble muscadines and mine is fantastic. Deep inky red, taste like muscadines. My son says it has a wood taste but I don't taste it.

I used 12 gal of fruit added 5 tbs of petic enzyme 5 tbs yeast energizer 5 tbs yeast nutrient 1 tbs tannin start sg of 1.090
