    Patience.... another try...🤣

Definitely after we drink! 🤣 I would need the courage! 🤣.jeez, what did u tell the feds? 😳😳😳 I would definitely share my wine with u, but have since given thought to sharing with my neighbours as they have phoned me out of my bed at midnight for free bottles of wine while they have been...

    Patience.... another try...🤣

So.. as most of you already know, I got my neighbours rather inebriated last weekend, and had to put them both to bed. So my wine is two weeks bottled and my kitchen has just flooded and is currently like a swimming pool, it's 3 inches of snow and the plumber can't come until tomorrow so I...

    Patience!!

It was only meant to be 1 but as we got talking we just kept drinking 🤣 my neighbour said I've broken her husband 🤣 he fell over when he went out the front door and ended up on the floor, we had to pick him up 🤣 and then I had to put his wife in bed because she could barely stand.... personally...

It's a rose wine which isn't my normal go to, I usually go for a good chardonnay 😊

    Patience!!

Well, 1 bottle led to me calling my neighbours round.. " you really need to come and try this" so 4 ppl and 7 bottles later, I had to carry my neighbours home because it was so easily drinkable! I also have my grand daughters first birthday cake to make today and I am in not fit state to do it...

Check out M.Y.O Wine kits. 10 days. 7 days to ferment and 3 days for finning. Drinkable from being first bottled but also says it improves with age so a few weeks 😊

    Patience!!

Ypu, it does and I made it 😂 and I have just cracked a bottle open... I was expecting it to taste like vinegar and I have been pleasantlysurprised! I can't believe I've actually made it myself! I'm sure it will definitely improve with age so another few weeks should be great!

Thank you!! I think I am going to taste test it. I was hoping to hold off until nearer Xmas but like u say, tastes with change as the wine ages and it might stop me constantly thinking about it. This was a 10 day kit but I think ur right about waiting much longer for a better tasting wine...

    Patience!!

Funnily enough when I was a wee lassie I used to make beer/lager with my dad. I remember sitting perched on the bunker (worksurface) and my job would be to stir the hops on the stove. I used to love doing this!! And I think that's what has brought me to wine making. I don't really drink lager...

🤣 I have 1 big cupboard for storage... that's all and most of it is filled with my first 30 bottles. So I'm now trying to figure out if there's anywhere else I can store more 🤣

    Patience!!

Well hopefully I'll get to that stage sooner rather than later... I have 30 bottles stored and I have still purchased wine from a store so i don't have to try the new bottles stuff 😅

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'm hoping so too, as I think it will become a big passion of mine now I have the bug for it. I'm sure I will want to start making it from scratch at some point too... I like rhe sound of Skeeter Pee so will be looking for a recipe for that I think, since it's...

    Patience!!

Ahh, yes I have noticed the smallest amount in the bottom of 2 out of 30 bottles so I just thought maybe I had picked up a wee bit of sediment in them so have put them to one side for personal drinking. I have so much to learn about wine making! I have read some posts and I'm lost 5 words in! 🤣...

Thank you!!! I am now itching ro start another batch! First lot was Rose which I don't usually drink and I only really purchased on a whim, which is why I think I haven't tried it yet. I normally opt for a good chardonnay so that will be my next batch. I do have to be careful as I don't have a...
