    If I have a white moldy layer on top of wine is there anything I can do?

    Hello there is a white moldy layer on top of my wine. I didn't have a chance to siphon it from bucket into bottle and forgot to put anti-bacterial, etc. in. Anything else I might just toss it but this was Rosehip & Hawthorne Berry wine and it was AMAZING. Any help would be appreciated.

    What is happening in my wine? (video)

    [Please see short video via attached gif] This is a raspberry wine in a 1 gallon carboy. It's SG is 1.010 and there was about an inch of lees (I have racked it to a new bottle). Is this just elements of lees being carried up by bubbles, then when the bubble pops the "stuff" falls back down...

    Major krausen issue with my Peach wine w/photo

    Really disappointing when this krausen (it is krausen right? When it was floating on top it looked exactly like all the images I saw online of "krausen") showed up and has never gone away and I mean, just look at the picture. I had to put the wine in ice water to make it drop so I can rack it...

    Will adding 71B yeast reduce malic acid post-primary fermentation?

    Brand new winemaker and I have about 8 gallons of various fruit wines that have just finished primary fermentation or will be finished soon. If I don't want malolactic fermentation to occur, or if I want to decrease its effect, could I try putting some of the 71B yeast in there? If so will I...
