Something weird is going on with some of my cab vines.

Thanks, I have black Munuka and muscadine planted right beside them with no problems. The concord has beautiful big green bunches they just don’t change any longer!

Not to interrupt a thread but I have a problem too!? I have a few Concorde vines where for the 2nd year in a row have refused to turn colors? In the past they have always changed from green to dark dark purple but now just stay green?

I have put down a thick layer of pine straw in my small vineyard! I finally found a use for the long leaf pines in the yard!

The #1 rule I learned about installing a trellis is don’t skimp on your posts, especially the corner posts. #2 when installing your corner posts dig your post holes at a angle so your posts are leaning backwards at a 10 degree or so angle

Thanks, I have already moved them. That table is on the east very shaded side of the house and only gets a little weak daylight sun. They are in the closet now, I racked them once more. Added a 1/4 teaspoon of metabisulfate and stuck them in the dark closet

I have some black munka wine that I fermented last week and is in a gallon jug with an airlock on top. I haven’t added any megabit to it yet so it may still be fermenting, can I add some of this?

I pitched the yeast at 1:30 this afternoon, is it to late to add the muscadine? Would tomorrow morning be to late?

Too make a white or rose wine i should do the same thing, use the nylon bag to keep the skins and seeds out?

I have a few muscadine and scuppers left i may try this with them. Last week I thawed out a bunch of blueberries i had. After hand crushing, pouring everything into a nylon bag, then putting the nylon bag into my wine press and squeezing out everything I could I ended up with 2 gallons of pure...

Can I ask a question? This is my second year making wine from fresh grapes and thanks for the great advice last year! I have been reading a few threads and have seen where members have said that you can make a red and a white wine out of the same grapes…. How is that possible?!
