Finer Wine Kit Finer Wine Kits

I’ve been making a few other kits and now wanted to try and make a FWK kit - preferably one of the whites. Sorry if I missed a post, but I can’t find any of the whites available for purchase. Does anyone know if they are available for purchase still?

    Northern Californian checking in

One good source for grapes is the local “the beverage people” website. If you go on their website, they have a section where they facilitate a little marketplace with local grapes for sale when we get closer to harvest. Either “picked” or “you pick”. Growers usually start posting what they have...

Real grapes or kit for first ever batch.

Fantastic! I just checked out the link to Brehms that was inserted above. Looks like they offer a pickup in Richmond, CA for some of their frozen juice. That sounds interesting to me as well. Keep us updated on how you proceed with your next steps. There are so many good posts in here and so...

Real grapes or kit for first ever batch.

For what it’s worth David, I am in a similar situation. Just planted my vineyard and I went ahead and purchased an equipment kit from a local retailer. I will first do a couple or three kits from WineExpert. Then I’ll move on to grapes after that.

There are plusses and minuses - and as with everything in life, we are trying to make the best of it. Being able to establish a...

Live in wine country - have no experience

It's really nothing special. It's just a standard irrigation control box, two control valves (just because I wanted to be able to run two zones), and then standard water pipes down to each row (under ground), up through the white pipes for each row, and then I connected black irrigation tubing...

    Newbie from “wine country”

Thanks for all the warm welcome notices and suggestions. I will update my account. The metal posts for the trellis system are already ordered - but with all the commercial vineyards planting right now, they are on back-order. Hopefully I should get them within a week or two.

Live in wine country - have no experience

Hi all, Although I live in the middle of “wine country” in Sonoma County, I really have no idea what I’m doing. I'm here to learn and exchange ideas and contribute with my experiences and learning as I go along. I wanted to just post this as an introduction - I’m sure I will have a lot of...
