This is the first racking out of the buckets. I started with 5lbs of sand plums and then a half and half mix of blackberries and mulberries (5 lbs total). Taste out of the buckets is awesome, I can't wait for the finished wine.

Wine is about 1 1/2 yrs old. I put the gallon glass jug in the fridge and it settled out. Tastes great, sweet. See pics.

The sand plum tree only gave me 9 lbs of fruit, so i used the 4.5 lbs of blackberries from the freezer we picked in summer and bought 7.5 lbs of red plums at the store. Going good so far, awesome color and the smell from the airlock is yummy! See pics.

i recently stumbled upon this type of plum in a book, and was wondering if anyone had made wine with them. i'm in oklahoma, and so far i can't find where i could purchase a tree. does anyone have any ideas or maybe a place i could look. stark bros used to carry them, but they don't anymore...
