WineXpert Anyone else doing LE 16 Milagro?

It's a blend of 5 different wines, so it might be hard to find something exactly the same: "Three of Spain’s great red varieties, Tempranillo, Garnacha and Bobal bring their lush and hedonistic qualities to pair the full-bodied and well-structured friends Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah."

    Other Tweeking Cheap Kits

I've got a bag of frozen currants looking for a wine kit. Any recommendations as to the style of red I should try with it? Also, that zin looks great with those fruit!

WineXpert Anyone else doing LE 16 Milagro?

I like the idea of adding the fruit. I added some blueberry to a cheap pinot noir kit, but it's only a week in so I can't comment on the results yet. I'll also add some extra tannin, but I haven't heard of the Rouge tannin until now. I don't think any of my LHBS carry any but I'll see if they...

Thank you! One of the few hobbies that can actually SAVE money, especially in Alberta right now with the ever increasing taxes.

    Another intro from Edmonton, Canada

Found this site via searching for winekit tweaks; a lot of helpful info so far! I've been doing wine and beer for about a year now and have made maybe 20 wines + meads from 1 gallon to 6. Big into country wine experiments; currently bulk aging beet, tamarind, lavender, plum w/almond, dandelion...
