    Hi - I am wondering if there is a rule of thumb out there in the community about how long grapes will stay until they get mashed into must? 2 days, 4 days? Should they be in a refrigerator to keep longer? Thank you -

    White Film / Ring

    I have Marquette wine from my vineyard and have a white film ring around the top of my Carboy. I have very little head space. Do I need to worry about this or just let it run its course? I am almost 2 weeks into MLF, but the white file was there prior to ML added.

    Primary Fermentation Stuck at 5 Brix

    I am new to this forum and am looking forward to getting advice about what to do with my wine that got stuck at 5 Brix. It has been stuck now for 2 weeks and I am worried about it spoiling. What are my next 3 steps?
