    In addition to making wine kits, I am a home brewer. I keg beer so I have kegs and co2. I would like some suggestions on a wine kit that would be good to carbonate. Would more wine cooler kits like the Island Mist be best or are there other choices?

    I wanted to see what the groups thoughts were on using the big mouth carboy for secondary and aging. I know they will work fine for the primary fermentation, but is there too much head space for further use? Also, do you use carboys with taps or use a siphon?

    Like many on here in addition to wine kits I also homebrew. I was told I should not homebrew using any equipment that was used to make wines ie: fermenters, siphons, hoses, carboy, etc. Is this this true.

    New from central Missouri

    I am szap from Rolla, MO. I have been making wine from kits for about a year now. Have made 7 kits from both winexpert and RJS (wife is not good at letting wine age.) With the exception of a white zinfandel all the kits made have been dry reds. I look forward to learning from the wine makers...
