    yes gravity at beginning was 1.070 at end was .998. i always used a vacuvin to degas. this is the first wine where i didnt have any gas

    I made a wine expert kit, Pink Mascato. It fermented in 7 days, when I racked it into a carboy yesterday added sorbate and went to degas there was no gas, not one bubble.does this mean there is something wrong

    Chris, let the wine age for at least 3 months. I thought mine was kinda sour to but after aging for awhile the berry flavor and sweetness came out

    that is yeast nutrient and energizer keep stirring the must that will mix in. stir the must a couple times a day if possible

    Well after aging the DB for 3 months I bottled it and does have a very good berry flavor and people love it. I do think I have it a little too sweet but they love it and its almost gone

    I just wanna let everyone who helped me with my Skeeter Pee know that it turned out great. everyone loves this stuff and I am now on my 4th batch right now.

    I followed the recipe to a T The SG now after clearing and stabilizing and sweetening is 1.030 and still has a very bitter taste. my skeeter pee turned out great though

    Yes I did that and tasted it yesterday and it pretty dry yet and hardly any berry flavor. I used two 3lb bags of 3 berry blend and a 1lb bag of blackberrys

    Is DB suppose to be a dry wine? I just made a batch and its clear, when I tasted it, its very dry and not much berry flavor

    Does everyone heat there sugar in water like the recipe says or do you just add it to the other ingredients like the dragons blood

    ok I am here to tell you the Cherry extract did not work!!!! all it did was make the wine bitter and NO CHERRY taste at all. Do you have to give the extract time to age a bit or what?

I left it go and my SG did drop under 1.10 and I racked it to my carboy tonight and it is still bubbling, just not quite as much. with my wine kit I followed that to a Tee and it seems to be fine.     I have a Wine Expert Kit California Moscato and ready to bottle. My wife said about flavoring some of the wine, with Blueberry or Rasberry. Has anyone done this? Do you like it
