    Satsuma Wine?

Hello, I have not posted in awhile, but I have been reading and researching. I am planning on starting a satsuma wine this week, and I was wondering what you would have done differently to improve it. I am planning to mash and stir the satsumas as you did, then adjust SG with sugar and check...

    Blueberry Wine Suggestions

I just racked my first 2016 Blueberry this afternoon. The problem I had last year, and which prompted this thread, did not occur this year. I did not take time to get a hydrometer reading today, but as I sip it tonight, it is definitely dry. To be so young (4 weeks), it tastes pretty darn...

    Blueberry Wine Suggestions

Thanks Scooter, Yes, that is what I was thinking. That is one reason I am planning to start with a lower sg this year. Also others on this site, and Jack Keller, suggest having a more moderate alcohol content than 15% will yield a better wine. Jim

Thanks I will be more patient next time. Also will do more research and will ask a few questions before next year. Most of what I have fermented I have really enjoyed. I am glad to find this forum. Thank all of you.

    2nd year maker

Thanks everyone. To best respond: *Most of my 2015 wine is very good (at least to me and my friends). *Yes, I am well into my wine-making addition. I love it. *By "poured out" I mean I poured my muscadine must over the back fence. I would have cried if it would of helped, as I know that...
