I am clearing the tropical fruit reisling right now. I used bananas and a few cups of sugar in the primary to recommended 21 liters. 1.070 if I remember right. Tasted pretty solid after adding the f-pack. Will let ya know how it turns out in a 4 or 5 days.

I am making the tropical fruit reisling right now by cornicopia from amazon. So far itsnturning out quite nice...clearing for a few more days. It is a cheap kit but when you are adding all that extra flavoring its doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

Thanks for the advice. I will look into the oak barrel and read up on everyone's favorite red kits. For the time being, my wife and all our friends love the whites I have done, so as long as they are dumb and happy so am I. Just looking to make a bigger red than I can with the cheap kits.
