    I haven't been making wine long, but so far I have made the mezza Luna, trinity red, selection orig French cab, and a selection orig sauv blanc. I'm looking to try the luna rossa next and was curious if anyone tried it? How does it age? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated!!!

    Thanks for the replies. Good to know I'm not causing problems for myself. Might try the grass tip though during the summer months and wash it down with a hose. Thanks!

    Just curious how everyone else disposes of wine sediment after racking wine off. I have only made one batch so far and just poured it down sink, but think this could cause problems longterm with the sink. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

    I think what prompted me to be concerned was the mini heat wave we got going... Temp in basement has been 26 for a couple days without dropping back down within the range.
