    Out of bottles again!

I've heard of screw tops breaking, risky... Talk to local restaurants, I get free bottles then clean, sanitize and reuse like many others here.

    Dragon Blood in 15 days!!!

Reilly: I think your sg is good for this recipe. Totally up to the person drinking it (you) but I really enjoy this wine a lil weaker than normal, has wonderful flavor! Adding sugar at this point is ok though, just do the whole boiling it down in very little water thing and let it cool to room...

    Skittle Wine

Mine was dark red, must just be the skittles you get in your bag. I did original recipe and it's been done for a while now. It taste bad at first but after it sat for a while, I was happy I did the 5 gal. Either way you will go through some trouble with it so I recommend doin the 5 gal. You'll...

    Skittle Wine

Sg should be at 1. I back sweetened to 1.015. But it's really your call. For sweet wines the average I seem to see is about 1.004-1.012. My fiance likes it really sweet tho. I have a different wine that's at 1.020 that she likes, too sweet for me tho.

    Skittle Wine

Time is your best friend, mine sat for about 6 months now and I had a bottle last night, pretty tasty. When you clear be sure to treat with amylase enzyme first, that will pull the starches out of the wine that is left from the skittles. Otherwise clearing is difficult.

    Skittle Wine

I used 1 can of white grape and didn't mix it with any water. Also, a few days before I boiled my candy to melt it, then froze it, this helps you to remove ALOT of the wax. It freezes up on top of it. I was able to catch mine after the wax froze but before the Candy froze so I pulled almost all...

    CO2 Charger

But won't the gas create a wall on to of the wine so the air don't touch it? It don't matter if co2 pushes the gas out, as long as air doesn't come in contact with the wine. Right?

    CO2 Charger

I'm gunna look into that, I don't like searching for something to to my wines off every rack. Seems like a greed idea since I never bulk age longer than 6 months

    CO2 Charger

Was it a beer video? Cuz I know doin that with beer bottles its a good thing. Only problem with wine is that you work so hard to get the co2 out that it would be silly to put it back in right at the end. I see the thought behind it since air spoils wine and co2 don't but the air won't carbonate...

This Quad Berry has a lot of sediment...!!

Blender? If this is like a normal blender I would try to avoid using it for wine in the future buddy. If you chop up alot of seeds it can cause bitterness in the wine.

I'm not near my journal right now but I'll double check tonight. I think it was the same as the skittle recipe but with starburst

Wine Floaties - Not sure what this is

Co2 just worries us due to the fact that it could be refermenting in the bottle which would cause small sediment to be in the wine. Maybe its the cork breaking a bit when you put the cork in?.... Or maybe its fruit gunk from what you made it from. Here's a pic of some nasty gunk my raspberry...
