    What do you make of this? oxidation?

    This is 6 gallons of Chardonell form last years harvest in bulk aging. Not sure if it is oxidation or some tannin I added floating to the top. It was vacuume racked/degassed back in may with 1/8 tsp K meta added at the time. anyones thoughts? I am thinking of either racking the top off or...

    Bumper crop for my Frontenac's

    Midwest heat wave

    Here in the St. Louis area we are heading into 5+ days of 100*+ weather with today at 107. I don't remember when we had rain last but thinking for the month of June we have only had about an inch.     Frost/freeze hits Missouri vineyard

    My MO vineyard

    Here is what I have going: Fronteanc and St. Vincent on the poles. Chardonell and Tramenett in the tubes. Spent half of Sunday spraying round up between the plants. Next week work on cutting more cedar trees for posts and then sometime brush hogging.... The last one is of the Frontenac budding out.
