I bulk aged for an extra month and then bottled. it was a little sharp at first, but came around and is very good. 1 and a half cases gone.

ok,I couldnt find enough bottles so I added sulfite and topped of the carboy with welches grape juice. it tasted better but still had a slight vinegar taste. Its been a week and now its fermenting again. Does that mean its not vinegar? or does vinegar ferment too? I just want to save my wine

Im gathering bottles, its all I have thats smaller. I'm gonna use celephane and rubbers band for air locks.

would camden tabs work(potassium metabisulfite)?

Thanks for all the help. I'm gonna try saving it before I make vinegar. The only thing I use vinegar for is cleaning the coffee pot.

I have this same kit I started about two months ago. I still have mine in the carboy, clearing. mostly I'm just not in a hurry to bottle. The longer it ages the better it tastes. The last time I tasted, it still had a chemical taste. I'm thinking of adding black rasberry flavor before I bottle.
