    Rhubarb Wine

    I don't see a recipe for rhubarb wine here. I have a recipe that I am trying to follow. However, I would like to see another version. This recipe has me "mash" the rhubarb but I'm not getting any juice...? Should I try boiling it in some water like with the beet wine recipe?

    The strawberry is VERY sweet, I can only have so much. I'm more of a red wine type of gal so a lot of these fruity wines are a change for me but I am having tons of fun! This hobby is very addicting!! Tera

    Dan - Yes, the cranberry chianti and strawberry riesling turned out excellent! We have already gone through a couple bottles. Im trying really hard to let it age though :)

    Yes, I had some sediment in the carboy. I should have racked an additional time. Now I know better for next time :)

    yeast

    I stirred it (because I was afraid to stir it after I added the yeast before) and then I tested it and it was at 1.09. I added another packet of yeast and covered... Thanks for your help!! How if your pumpkin spice wine? Sounds excellent!
