    do you have a long plastic spoon? I successfuly used that to degas my first few wine kits, it's a bit of a work out but it works....

    Yes you can, I've done it many times with beer and never had a problem , they'll even unscrew! Just make sure you use new caps.

    I used the slurry from my blueberry wine, but imo you could use the syrup with any slurry, i'm going to try it again with a pinot griggio slurry next ;)

    one of my friend recycles pop bottles, you can buy new caps for .05-.10$ ea...I tried it but it's not for me...but it's cheap!

    you can also convert a 5 or 6 gallon recipe let,s say you want to convert a 5 gal batch ingredient / 5= A A X 3= a 3gallon recipe. Always look at the instructions on the package for chemicals thaugh...

    Take your SG first, if your present wine is bellow 1.000 I wouldn't try it with slurry...if you look it up, there are other ways.

    he'll have to be patient....those sediment would probably give the wine a nassty taste.... I'm not sure what Pectolase is....I had succes with Super-Kleer, pectine enzyme and patience.... Good luck to your friend!
