Roy: when you stabilized and fined, during the clearing process did it have a bit of a haze to it or become crystal clear, and then hazing after f-pack was added? Just put some supr-kleer in mine and waiting...just curious so I know what to look for....thanks :b

robie: I have made about 25 of these kits over the years and always wanted to experiment, and this bubbly idea intrigues me, love to buy new play toys to make better quality "stuff", I wouldn't have a clue how to do this, but if you do, experiment, please do a write up with pics or it didn't...

So it wasn't to sweet when you put the whole f-pack in at the end.....I have done a bunch of island mists and they all would be to sweet, almost jolly rancher -ish if you added everything.

Been a year on mine and just bottled after bulk aging and man this stuff is GOOOD!!, I couldn't stop drinking the split I had left over. gonna be ordering another for sure!

So I missed the boat on this the last few years but want to try this season, is there any tricks to this one, do you make the same as other Island mist kits where you up the sg with sugar at primary, and then use have the f-Pack, also from what I'm seeing they are splitting up into a combo pack...

what do you sweeten with to bring out the natural flavors of the grapes? I dont like sweet wine myself but am always up for improving the quality of dry natural red wines and whites for that matter?

yeah Im sorry i should have been specific on the wines, they are dry reds, one will actually get a sweetner, as it needs a little something.
