I would put money on it will be good but there won't be enough of it. Should come out just fine. But you will probably have to make more. Arne.

    Sour Cherry - done!

@Rice_Guy Don't pitch the wine done with pits yet. I found you don't get the flavor if you pit them first, but the ones with pits did eventually have the flavor go away. Been a long time ago, don't remember how long it took, but was over 2 years Arne.

Built my deck 20years ago. Used the fake decking, costs a lot more but there is no maintenance. Still looks as good as when we built it. Arne.

    Dandelion wine

Pretty sure that was for a gallon. And all the recipes I have looked at say to use just the petals. That has stopped me from trying it. Think it would be a long day pulling and seperating all the petals. Arne.

    What R you doing today?

Doing about the same as I have for the last week or so. Somehow wound up with a detached retina. Vision went to crap on Saturday. Monday called our eye doctor. Usually takes a month or more to get in. Was in at 9:00 tuestday. Eye doc says knows there is something wrong but too cloudy to...

Starting my first ever Merlot !

Don't think I would try to run the ferment at 80 degrees. It has happened when it is hot outside, but a bit cooler and slower is almost always better. Low to mid 70's work well and my ferments are usually a bit lower than that. Of course I am not in any hurry, but with the high ferments you...

    Yellow Wine

Thinking we mite need a bit more info. How far along is the ferment? If you have a hydrometer, what are the readings. If you don't have one, pick one up. They are not expensive. Anyway, welcome to the forum and you might have more luck with answers if you post in the beginner forum. Arne.
