    Blackberry Juice Wine recipe

    My dad juiced a bunch of blackberries last year and froze it for me to use for making wine. Anyone have a recipe for Blackberry Wine made from the juice? Thanks

    Was it wrong??

    Was it wrong to stabilize and back sweeten my vintners black currant wine at the same time?? Also this kit was started on November 14th maybe I should of just stabilized and back sweetened later?? I plan to add the clearing agent. Is this ok to do now? Plan to leave in carboy to age for awhile

    Question about backsweeten??

    I plan to stabilize and back sweeten my black currant wine and was wondering if anyone has used the bar simple syrup you buy in the liquor department to back sweet instead of making your own??? I do believe it contains corn syrup.

    How many pounds of pears do I need for 5 gallons?? And I need a good recipe. My mom and dad have a pear tree and I would like to freeze some to use for wine later!! Thanks Tina

    racked from secondary??

    So i racked my peach wine from my secondary into another 5 gallon carboy at a sg reading of 3 days in a row at around 1000 maybe a tad less. I topped it off with natural juice. My directions on the kit said to add campdon tablets but I wasn't sure on this. It doesn't seem to be bubbling to much...

    Help!!

    I did my first racking into my carboy and didn't have enough to fill to the neck. It is a 5 gallon carboy. Is there something I should do or just leave it. It is about 4 inches from the start of the neck. It is bubbly just fine. My sg before I racked was 1035. Peach wine from a vintners wine base.

    started my first batch!!

    So I started on Tuesday my Vintner's Peach wine base that came with my kit. Doing the 5 gallon recipe. I got a starting SG reading of 1.085, let sit for 24hrs added yeast yesturday and checked this morning and fermentation is working quite nicely. Does everyone stir everyday for the next few...
