Good site. We have a photographer come and do some family photos for us every few years. He swears by MPIX. They do great prints.

    First time this happened

During the early stages, when I think of it, I give the carboys a 'twist'. Helps to get all that gunk off the sides and down to the bottom, where it seems just a tad easier to deal with.

    What's for Dinner?

Turkey quesadillas. Sweet from sliced apples, the turkey brine, cherry smoke and caramelized onions; salty from olives; tangy/spicy from pickled jalapeños and salsa, and of course creamy, melty goodness from the cheese. Food coma...

    What's in your glass tonight?

Finally got around to popping a bottle of that World Wide Stout last night as we got together with some good friends and chilled around their fire pit. It was the perfect sipper after some simple burgers and Pinot Noir. Glad I still have two of these left, but may got to TW and grab some more...

    Thanksgiving

Kind of a family joke, but we always say that you can't have a fancy dinner without a proper relish tray. My Mom always throws one out in good humor, usually just a couple olives and a few pieces of celery. I had to make one today and make sure she got a pic, since we weren't together. :D

    The Bread Thread

Ah, must be the celery. I'll be doing up my grandfather's stuffing recipe in the morning. First time I've ever made it, but got some tips from Dad. Even though it's my maternal grandfather's recipe, my dad makes it every year and it's one of my favorite things to eat.
