What is gassing off from my already double-dry wine?

    1. No, that is not true. Eventually, there will be an equilibrium between the partial pressure of the CO2 in the headspace and the amount of CO2 dissolved in the gas. The ratio of those two things is fixed, which is the gist of Henry's Law. That ratio is not affected by the presence of other...

Is it worth it to make a second run wine?

I don't have nearly that much experience, but let me chime in my 2 cents worth. It sorta depends on what you want to get out of it. I made a second-run wine the first time I made wine from grapes. I recall someone here on WMT advising me something like "we've all been there and done that...

    How to prepare grapes

In English, we generally call that "a second-run wine" or just a "second wine." I don't know what they say in Italian. And welcome to WMT.

    Diamond Wine Rack

Well, it is true that the side triangles are not terribly efficient. However, if your drawing is accurate, it is not so bad in your case. You can fit 20 bottles in a full diamond. You are showing 8 bottles in a "half-diamond" (AKA, a triangle). So that is not too bad a penalty. If you...

    Lienenkugels brewery to close

Sad day, for sure. Even here in Brewtown it is a mixed bag. In addition to the Chippewa Falls location, they are closing the Leinie's "satellite" brewery near downtown Milwaukee, and moving everything to the "main campus" of Molson Coors, i.e., what we just call "Miller Brewery" here.

    Brisket price in the US?

Of course that is $8 CAD. At current exchange rates, that would be $5.75/lb.

Understanding nuances in text is hard. Are you asking me (technically, commanding me) to show the calculations because you don't believe me, or because you want to learn how to do this calculation?

Post a Meme, any Meme! (no politics)

It's far worse than that. Many news outlets reported something like "more than the GDP of the entire Earth." But that VASTLY understates the case. Consider accumulating the yearly GDP of the entire Earth. But instead of yearly, you accumulate it once every second. And you do that from now...
