Welch's 100% White Grape Juice Concentrate - Can't find it anywhere!

Same trouble here. I have been looking at Walmarts and Krogers for over 4 months. I asked Kroger's customer service, who told me they could order it, then was told it was on some kind of special list that they couldn't order from for requests. Frustrating.

Cold crashing a fruit wine experience?

I have good luck with the K/C combo. I usually apply it after about 6 months. Sometimes it works within a couple of days, and sometimes it works gradually until is totally clear after about a month. Peach takes patience for sure.

    Help With Labels?

@mhopkins - I just soak them in warm water for several minutes in batches, then use one of those paint scrapers with a razor blade. The glue turns to rubber and is easily removed. They are FAR easier than cleaning labels off of commercial bottles.

    Help With Labels?

I have been buying my labels from onlinelabels.com. I buy the OL150 (3.33x4") in weatherproof (pvc) for use with laser printers. I use their online label designer (Maestro), which is super easy to use. You get a one year subscription to the label designer for free if you order more than 10...

    Fleas

I've had severe problems in the past, tried bombs and traps and just about everything, but finally decided to research it and did my homework. Now we just spray. It's important to vacuum, then use a sprayer with a mix of both a growth inhibitor (IGR) and an insecticide. An IGR is much like...

Question regarding labels for 375ml wine bottle

I almost exclusively make 3 gallon batches (except when I make kits), so I bottle in 375ml bottles mostly. A 3 gallon batch yields 24 375ml bottles (a case where I purchase them) and 3 750ml bottles. I have been using the OL150 label from onlinelabels and they are 3" X 4.33". They seem to work...

    Clearing plum wine

I agree with Arne. I had the exact same experience with a wild plum wine. It stayed cloudy for months. I tried extra pectic, then later, bentonite, with no results. Finally I tried Superkleer (first time ever trying it) and it was bright and shiny within a week.

    Third Times a Charm...

Ditto here too. I have 32 pounds of pitted and sliced peaches in the freezer. It will be my very first batch of peach. I am wanting to end up with 3 finished gallons and have heard that peach throws a lot of sediment. I'd love to see your recipe, if you'd be kind enough to share it.

Best paper (and where to buy) for label-making.

I bought a cheap, used HP color laser printer for 100 bucks (and came full of toner) off of E-Bay and I use the waterproof laser printer labels in sheets from onlinelabels.com (the OL150 labels - 6 per sheet). The labels don't smear when wet. I use their online Maestro label maker software...

    WineXpert World Vineyard Pink Moscato

The actual FG after adding the F-Pack is around 1.018 to 1.020. I've made this kit twice.

WHEW! No wine lost due to earthquake this AM

I live just to the Southeast of Wichita, Kansas in a small farming town. I have to say, the quake this morning was THE first earthquake I have ever felt in my life, and I have lived here for all of my 51 years. It was truly a strange experience! I happened to be sitting in my den and the washer...

    Half Bottles?

I make lots of 3 gallon batches, so I normally bottle them in 375ml bottles. They work out perfect for a small batch. If somebody wants more, they just take two.
